We love encouraging children at an early age to get involved with animal rescue in small and big ways. Their compassion and learning is what will affect our future. Talk with your child to see if they would be interested in hosting a Lemonade Stand for Rockers Rescue.  We will explain the process below. We also want to give a big shout out to Heath, the first Rockers Rescue Lemonade Stand Host! We are so proud of him for making the decision to help make a difference. YOU can help too! Rockers Rescue functions solely with volunteers and donations. By hosting a lemonade stand you are raising donations to help our rescue with things such as needed medications, surgeries, vaccinations, foods, etc. We appreciate any help with the lives we save and future ones to come!  Keep in mind, this is your event, if you want to do a donation drive at the same time you can! Just ask what we may need. Now ...on to the basics! 

To host your Rockers Rescue Lemonade Stand:

1. Pick a potential date and start time. 

2. Contact us! Facebook is easiest. Email is rockersrescue@gmail.com  Anyone that hosts a stand for us MUST contact us first so that we can get your plans down, give you our printables, help spread the word, and make plans to receive the donation afterward. 

3. Gather your needed materials. Print some signage including our printables, chair, tables, cups, items to make lemonade, etc. You can also have cookies for donations if you want. It is in YOUR hands as you are the host. Consider it your own little shop! 

4. Don't forget to set a donation price. You may want that written on a sign for people to easily see. This is your set up so you call the shots. Our first Lemonade stand host had his lemonade at 50cents a cup. Use signage so people know that it's a donation. 

5. Let's spread the word! As we approach your Lemonade stand date we will share on our facebook page. YOU can share too! Signs in the neighborhood, talk to friends and family, make a facebook event, etc. You may even want to say that pets can come by! Also don't forget to take pictures to send us!!!

6. Let there be Lemonade! The day arrives and you do your thing! Keep in mind, every little bit helps. Even if the big day doesn't raise as much as you'd hoped, it ALL helps our animals! We are just thankful to have you helping them too. 

7. Make your donation. You can always mail a check to us if that is easiest Rockers Rescue P.O. Box 242, Greenwood, LA 71033  or you can get with us about making the donation by card or paypal via our website. Just let us know when it is sent so that we can mark your event off of our list. If able, we will personally meet the child with our mascot Grace Pibble to receive the donation! Don't forget to send us pics as well so we can add you to our page. 

8. Know that you are awesome! We are SO PROUD of you! Your contribution to pets in need is such a sweet thing and we hope you continue on in a future of being a rescue pet supporter.  The animals need people like you to show them love and safety and to educate others. THANK YOU.
