The animals have multiple pictures and usually a video to view. We are located around Shreveport, Louisiana and generally meet at PetSmart Shreveport, or Hollywood Feed Shreveport. Nellie - female, marbled tabby kitten, est Birthday March 4, 2023. History: Nellie came to us from Bossier City Animal Control. Her sister Nera Nubs was born very special, with no back feet. We saved Nera (a black kitten), sister Nellie (marbled tabby) and brother Nate (a tuxedo). When we saved them they had a stomach illness causing horrible tummy issues. To the point we had to fight HARD to keep them all alive. We sadly lost baby Nate, but Nera and Nellie were very lucky to have thrived. Personality: Nellie has ALWAYS been an outgoing girl!!! VERY playful. She is full of energy and entertainment. She has even gone to sit by people for snuggles. Nellie loves toys as you can imagine. I know a kitty tree would be right up her ally too. This girl is a ham! When doing her latest photoshoot, she was cracking us up having a blast and tossing things around.( the video we upload will show you, haha!) She loves being pet and getting attention too. Nellie wants so badly to have a family, a home, and love. Tabby kitties are sadly usually hard to find homes for. Nellie is so beautiful though with such a fun personality to go with her. We are thankful this girl is alive and can't wait for the next step in her journey. Medical: Our kittens will have started their vaccine and deworm schedule. They will have had at least 2 sets of vaccines before leaving and their spay/neuters are soon. ( Kittens usually get 3 to 4 sets of vaccines total to protect them from disease. Vets generally do each set 3 to 4 weeks apart.) Negative fecal reading prior to adoption. Fiv/felv test negative. On monthly flea/tick prevention . When you adopt, you will get a folder with all of their medical records to bring to your vet. Kitten will be microchipped. It is via Petlink and there are NO fees. It is a lifetime registration and our rescue will have already paid for it. Spay is scheduled for July 13th at Robinsons Rescue. Adopter may bring kitten to that appointment or we can arrange a volunteer to help with drop off and pick up the next day. The rescue will cover this fee $48 plus $10 rabies. So $58 unless adopter wants to help donate for it. Note: We do not approve of declawing. So if you wish to do that, please do not apply. This kitten is also to be indoors only. If you want an outdoors or indoor/outdoor kitty let us know and we can direct you. Our pets each have multiple pictures and usually at least one video so be sure to check for those. ADOPTION: $80 adoption donation for approved application. Our rescue spends a lot more than this fee on each life, but it is a way to help give back some to go towards the next life we help. We are a 501c3 non profit that is 100% volunteer run. We function solely on donations from kind people. If you wish to donate more or continue following/supporting us over time, we would appreciate your continued love to help our organization save lives. Adoption Process Summary: You apply. We will email or call if we have any questions. Upon app approval, we would schedule a day we all meet at PetSmart Shreveport or Hollywood Feed Shreveport. At that meet we would all make sure that you feel the pet is a good match for your home. If so, we run the adoption. You fill out our contract, pay your donation fee, and receive your folder with their medical records. You must bring a pet carrier to this appointment because your pet will go home with you that day if we all feel it is a great match. Woohoo! We take your adoption picture and you head off with your new furry friend! We can often provide adoption coupons too!
