After we have an approved application, we schedule a meet to see if yall are a great match! We are able to do adoption meets at PetSmart Shreveport or Hollywood Feed in Shreveport.

June
-Female, dark Tortie , ~3 months old, spayed, utd on vaccines, all medical, etc.

This stunning girl has some fluffy hair, I wouldn't quite call her a medium hair because as she grows it will likely shorten up some, but I feel like she may keep some whisps and fluffs.

History: June and her brother Crack Crack were surviving in woods. They were spotted by a volunteer of ours and our mission began to help capture the little babies that were feral and sickly. We got Crack Crack first! He looked ROUGH and many people were moved by his pitiful picture. He was SO scared when caught, but boy....did this kitten quickly become a love bug! Next, we set traps to get little June. It took a bit but we finally got her and reunited her with her big brother. They had lots of medical done (Over $300 plus) to get them healthy and ready for adoption. We are so happy for them to begin looking for their forever families!

Personality: June is more of a shy baby. She would love a household that will take time with her and be understanding. She allows petting and being grabbed. With more one on one she should do great. She had her first bath and handled it very well. At a PetSmart adoption event. we were letting a lot of people pet her outgoing brother, and we decided to give her a try. We would take her out for kids and adults to pet her and she handled it well so long as I was holding her nicely.  That was their first event too and I was so proud. She did stay in the same spot during the whole event, but she still did a good job for it being her first loud outing with barking dogs nearby.     I would call June sweet and reserved. Recently she did roll all around while I was petting her. They are done with medicines and now she's seeing that people are here to spoil her, haha. I would say she would be slow adapting but that one on one will be great. Keeping her in a small closed off area or kennel in the beginning would be ideal to help her adapt. Somewhere calmer for this cutie.

Vetting: Spayed. 3 sets of vaccinations. Tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Dewormed multiple times. Was treated for whipworms and had a negative fecal after. Treated for ringworm. Treated for possible coccidia in the beginning.  On Monthly flea/tick prevention. Microchipped via Petlink with a Lifetime Registry (we have already covered the one time fee.)  Will receive rabies vaccine at the spay appointment.

About Adoption: This Kitty has a $40 adoption donation fee for approved application. This fee in no way covers all of the donations used to help this animal but it does help add back a little to help with the next life. You can donate more if you wish.  We are a 501c3 non profit rescue that functions solely with volunteers and donations. If you want to read how our adoption process works, go to:   Adoption Process (rockersrescue.org)  otherwise, see below for the link to the application.
