Our Rockers Rescue pets are currently in foster homes that help us save lives. When you choose to adopt from a rescue, you help open space for us to save another life in need. We are located around Shreveport, Louisiana. (Out of state adoptions ARE possible.)

Benton Kitten

Male, Estimated around 4mths old

History: Our Benton baby is a charmer. But things started off differently in life for him. One of our volunteers was notified about a kitten on the ledge of a bridge overpass in Bossier City on Benton Rd. That's right, this baby was on a bridge. At the highest part their are segments of fencing and that's where he was on the ledge next to the fence, way up high. Our volunteer left her home and arrived there about 30 minutes later. He was still there! She stopped traffic and nabbed the kitten, he tried to run in fear but she held on good! Benton was saved.

About Benton: He came to us nervous of course but is really a dashing little boy now. He is a favorite at events. Very relaxed just lounging about, enjoys people petting him. Not real use to being held, that may come with time or be better in a home environment but he does love attention. He is good around other cats and dogs. Good with kids loving on him. He's actually a pretty petite boy. A more small and slender look about him. He's a charmer for sure. Loves to play and enjoys toys.

Kitten will have a $40 adoption donation with the following included:

Kittens are current on age appropriate vaccines.

Kitten will be microchipped with a free lifetime registry.

Kitten has had FIV FeLV testing and was negative. Kittens are also treated for any worms.

Kitten will be spayed/neutered.

Some Notes: This kitty is to be an indoors kitty. <<< If you are after an indoors/outdoors or outdoors only kitty then this is not the right kitty for you. We can help find one to meet those needs though! Just ask. <3

We also do not approve of declawing. We request that you research that. We have seen many cases where cats become irritable or stop using the litter box etc. and people try to surrender them to us. Nail caps can be a great aid to any kitty with scratching tendencies.

We are ran by volunteers and will try to review your application as quickly as possible. By choosing to adopt you help us open space up to save another life!

There will be a $40 adoption donation fee. This fee generally NEVER covers how much we actually spend on the animal. We are a 501c3 non profit so the fee goes back into our volunteer rescue to help us save more lives. We function solely on donations. Steps to apply below.
