Our Rockers Rescue pets are currently in foster homes that help us save lives. When you choose to adopt from a rescue, you help open space for us to save another life in need. Estimated 10 months to 1 year old. Breed: Dandy looks like a spaniel or cocker spaniel mix. Her hair likely WILL start growing out!!! She seems to have been shaved before we got her as she had clipper streaks in her fur. We don't know how long the hair will become though. That is to be considered with grooming expenses. She is tiny and currently her hair is short, although it is lengthy along her ears, legs, and the tip of her tail (lion tail.) History : Dandy was found running in a busy road. She was scooped up by a kind person. Dandy was skinny with some wounds and covered in tons of fleas. She did a stray hold period through the local shelter but no owner came forth. Dandy got lucky as she got to become a Rockers Rescue dog. We got all of her vetting needs done, mean fleas gone, and tons of love. We are still working on her gaining weight. About Dandy: Dandy is a VERY sweet girl!!! She's going to make a lucky family very happy. She is leash trained, has free roam of home when nobody is there, she's good with dogs, cats, and children. Dandy is very much a snuggle bug lap girl. She loves people and cuddling. She is also very playful. Dandy LOVES toys. She enjoys playing with other dogs as well as her toys and with people. Fetch is a great past-time. Balls are the best. But so are stuffed things...so either way she's a happy girl. Haha! She sleeps either in bed at night or in a dog bed right next to the bed. She likes to be a shadow but she's also content to herself. As in she will follow you room to room but can enjoy doing her own thing. If you are ready to be a dog's "person" and have a best friend in your home...Dandy could be it! Fenced yard needed as Dandy does have energy. Deserves to be the princess. Even tempered sweet girl. Requirements: Indoor spoiled pet. Fenced yard but not to be left out unattended. Able to afford future grooming needs.. Vetting: Up to date on yearly vaccinations and rabies vaccine. Spayed. Vet visits. Had a negative heartworm test and is on monthly heartworm prevention. Fecal exam. On monthly flea/tick prevention. Microchipped with free lifetime registry. About Applying to Adopt: This pup has a $100 adoption donation fee (lifetime microchip fee is included) This fee generally NEVER covers how much we actually spend on the animal. We are a 501c3 non profit so the fee goes back into our volunteer rescue to help us save more lives. We function solely on donations.
