Plum - Please consider this adorable deserving lady.

Female Intake date: Sept 25, 2018. You're probably wondering why she hasn't been adopted yet. That is 1, because she's not a kitten anymore. People prefer to adopt kittens versus cats. 2, Plum would love a more relaxed home. She gets tons of compliments but stays overlooked. She is a very sweet girl and gets attached quickly to her owner. Age estimated around 4 years. Litterbox trained. She is up to date on all vaccines, testing, spayed, and microchipped. Very sweet! Loves to rub on things and purr!
She has a calico tabby look about her. Pretty splotches of orange mixed in with spots and the sweetest face with a pink nose. Very beautiful coloring. She is a Plum(p) girl. So if you like a big beautiful kitty...here you are! haha

Plum's History: While at one of our local shelter that has to euthanize for space, we came across a mom with 2 babies that were born the day before. The mom had been surrendered to the shelter earlier on because the family was moving. They said "possibly pregnant". We couldn’t help but want to get them safe. We took in the family and named our mommy, Momma Plum. Sadly, both of her kittens passed away.

About Plum: Our sweet Plum loves to rub on things and purr. She loves attention. Not really one to just climb in your lap, but rather rub around you. We think she will form a great bond with someone. She is okay around calmer animals but can be nervous or scared around rambunctious ones. In the right home, she will rule the roost like a princess and bring SO much joy! Plus she is a BEAUTY to look at!!! Has been around an 8 year old child and does great. So far no apps for this baby! Which is crazy because she is GREAT, truly. This is a very sweet cat. At events she just pouts until someone pets her, then she starts making biscuits. At home, she can be a talker. She will meow, you can talk back, and she will look at you and meow again. Just have a mini conversation with her! haha.

Update: Plum did get adopted for a few weeks. She quickly bonded with the mother in the home. She however was not allowed in the bedroom with the mom and so she would meow wanting her. She was not the right match for their home. She needs a home where she can feel safe and follow her sweet family everywhere they go.

Some Notes: *This kitty is to be an indoors kitty. <<< If you are after an indoors/outdoors or outdoors only kitty then this is not the right kitty for you. We can help find one to meet those needs though! Just ask. This particular one...not it. Indoors only. <3

*We also do not approve of declawing. We request that you research that. We have seen many cases where cats become irritable or stop using the litter box etc. and people try to surrender them to us.

* We are ran by volunteers and will try to review your application as quickly as possible. By choosing to adopt you help us open space up to save another life!

Vetting:

Up to date on shots. Has kitty yearly vaccines and rabies vaccine.
Had regular kitty testing and all was good.
Dewormed.
I am spayed.
On monthly kitty revolution to protect against fleas and ticks.
I am Microchipped (lifetime registry, no fees )

About Applying to Adopt: This Kitty has a $40 adoption donation fee (microchip fee is included) This fee generally NEVER covers how much we actually spend on the animal. We are a 501c3 non profit so the fee goes back into our volunteer rescue to help us save more lives. We function solely on donations.
