Her foster says she listens to command such as getting off counters. Usually comes when called. Will roll over on her back for belly rubs. Has put on weight since we got her from the shelter. Acts almost dog- like, haha. I hear nothing but great things about Cleo from her foster.
She is a very sweet cat and we believe she use to be an indoor cat before she ended up at the shelter. She has a long face, Huge pretty eyes, and a cute half tail! Reminds me of an Egyptian queen!
A family will be very lucky to snag this girl!
Cleo's Past:
Cleo came to us from Bossier City Animal Control.
When we first met her she had kittens and some orphaned kittens. They sadly all passed away. The next time we saw her she had 3 more orphaned kittens that thankfully took to her. At this point a foster home opened and we pulled them all.
Sadly those newborns passed away too. The shelter is no place for kittens and usually with infants they already miss so many precious hours with mom that they have little chance of survival.
Cleo did her best to be a great mommy though.
She was sick when we pulled her and has since become very healthy and gained weight.
We cannot wait for her to find a family to treat her like the princess/ queen she is!
She has been tested and was negative (yay)
Up to date on shots. Spayed. Her adoption fee is $40.

---We are located around SHREVEPORT, LOUISIANA.
We are a foster only 501c3 rescue so we do not have a set location. **If you are interested in a dog/cat please go to httpa//www.adoptapet.com/rockersrescue/adoptionapp/:::www.adoptapet.com/rockersrescue/adoptionapp/ to fill out an application. Be sure to read all about the dog/cat before applying.
**Keep in mind our pets are in foster care so we get to know them fairly well. We get a good idea of the type of home they need. You home may be perfect for one and not for another. It all depends but we only place our animals in homes we think will benefit both them and the adopter.
**Once you are approved to adopt from us we can schedule a home visit with the dog in interests or we can let you meet the dog before we bring them by.
**Feel free to ask us when our next adoption event will be and you can always fill out an application in person at one of those as well as meet our pups.
**If you do not live local but are interested in one of our pets please message us. Transports do exist and can be looked into.
**All of our dogs, unless stated otherwise, will be up to date on shots,have fecals done, on heartworm prevention, spayed or neutered, and we also try to have them microchipped. The adoption fees vary but dogs are usually 100 and cats 40.
***** If a dog has heartworms do not let it deter you from adoption. We place our heartworm positive dogs on a month of doxycycline twice a day and prevention. The doxy kills any baby heartworms and weakens the adults until they die of age. This is gentler on the pet than full blown treatment and is best for our animals going through foster care. The pet just needs to stay on regular prevention afterward. You may speak with your personal vet about the full on treatment if that is preferred and a possibility for the pet.
