Princess Leia

Female, Estimated around 7-8 weeks old.

History: Leia and her brother Luke ended up at Caddo Parish Animal Shelter as newborns. Our rescue took them under our wing and they became Rockers Rescue babies. They got to be some of our special bottle fed babies as they grew. Luke and Leia have a friend that is a little older than them named Han. They have been getting to grow and play together.

About Leia: Leia is a sweet kitten. She loves to play with her kitty friends and toys but also loves human attention. We can likely credit that to being bottle fed as a baby. Very pretty girl. Socialized with children as well. Uses litterbox.

Details/Vetting:

Kitten will have a $40 adoption donation with the following included:

Kittens are current on age appropriate vaccines.

Kitten will be microchipped with a free lifetime registry.

Kitten will have a mandatory spay/ neuter appointment set for when they are old enough. They may be brought to this appointment by their new family. Rescue donations from kind people will cover this appointment.

Some Notes: This kitty is to be an indoors kitty. <<< If you are after an indoors/outdoors or outdoors only kitty then this is not the right kitty for you. We can help find one to meet those needs though! Just ask. This particular one...not it. Indoors only. <3

We also do not approve of declawing. We request that you research that. We have seen many cases where cats become irritable or stop using the litter box etc. and people try to surrender them to us. Nail caps can be a great aid to a kitty with scratching tendencies.

We are ran by volunteers and will try to review your application as quickly as possible. By choosing to adopt you help us open space up to save another life!

If you are interested in adopting:
We have a 2 step process where you will fill out an application, upon approval we will email a detailed vetting/expectation informational that you also must agree to. The kittens will not be allowed to go to their new home until at least May 6th when they are 8wks old. There will be a $40 adoption donation fee. This fee generally NEVER covers how much we actually spend on the animal. We are a 501c3 non profit so the fee goes back into our volunteer rescue to help us save more lives. We function solely on donations. Steps to apply below.

Step1: Email rockersrescue@gmail.com and tell us that you will be filling out an application. This is IMPORTANT as sometimes apps do not go through. We also send application replies to this email.
