Litterbox trained
Child friendly and cat friendly. Children should be respectful to pet.
Luna Moon is a sweet and more relaxed girl. She will flourish in a home with fewer to no dogs. She has been to adoption events and has not been reactive to dogs around her but she would still prefer to not deal with doggie drool haha.
We included a video with her gorgeous pictures! She has gained weight since her last photoshoot so we have added pictures of her now.
Luna Moon is a talker. She likes to let you know when she wants something. Can we say princess?
She is also up to date on all vaccines, testing, spayed, and microchipped.

History: In April of 2018 one of our foster moms took in two mommy kitties that each had kittens from our local kill shelter. One of those moms was Luna Moon. This was likely her first time being pregnant which leads us to think she is very young as cats can have babies as early as 6 months old! We took the moms and babies under our rescue to prevent them from going back to the shelter environment.

About: Luna Moon is a quiant princess. She is fostered in a home that has large dogs so she stays as far away from the ruckus as she can. She would likely flourish in a home with either calm dogs or none at all. When she is out and about for attention, she is a very sweet girl. When we were doing her photo shoot she was all about wanting to love on her foster mom. We know in the right home, she will make a family so happy! At events she is very relaxed and easy going. She does fine around other cats and children.

Some Notes: *This kitty is to be an indoors kitty. <<< If you are after an indoors/outdoors or outdoors only kitty then this is not the right kitty for you. We can help find one to meet those needs though! Just ask. This particular one...not it. Indoors only. <3

*We also do not approve of declawing. We request that you research that. We have seen many cases where cats become irritable or stop using the litter box etc. and people try to surrender them to us.

About Meeting Me: ( We completely understand wanting to meet the pet before making a big decision such as adoption. Our pets are in foster homes that help us save lives. If you are interested in meeting or adopting, please start by filling out an application. Directions are below. Once everything is cleared, we can schedule a meet at PetSmart in Shreveport or at your home. We all must understand kitties will likely be nervous at first in a new environment. If you are wanting to pick between certain kitties just let us know. )

* We are ran by volunteers and will try to review your application as quickly as possible. By choosing to adopt you help us open space up to save another life!

Vetting:

Has kitty yearly vaccines and rabies vaccine.
Tested for FIV FeLV and was negative!
Dewormed.
I was treated for earmites upon intake.
I am spayed!
I am on kitty Bravecto to prevent against mites, fleas, ticks. It lasts 3 months from the date given.
I will be Microchipped (that fee is included in kitties adoption donation fee. It is a one time fee so no yearly expenses. We use PetLink. Just ask if you have questions on how microchips work. )

About Applying to Adopt: This Kitty has a $40 adoption donation fee (microchip fee is included) This fee generally NEVER covers how much we actually spend on the animal. We are a 501c3 non profit so the fee goes back into our volunteer rescue to help us save more lives. We function solely on donations.
