Cori Kitten:

  • I have the cutest spotted belly!
  • I'm very friendly and playful.
  • I like to snuggle.
  • I am curious and like to explore more than my other siblings.
  • I was born around February 26th.
  • I use the litter box.

My History:   My story is a little different than my siblings. Im extra special because I wasn't found until after my family was pulled from the shelter.

My 3 sibling were found in the wall of a building in Shreveport. We were all newborns! The people that found my siblings brought them to the local shelter that stays so full they have to euthanize for space. When they went into the shelter doors they got lucky! There was a momma kitty there with 4 babies about a week older than us. They called her Clover. She took in my siblings!  One day Rockers Rescue came and took them all to an amazing foster home. They called them "saved." BUT.... then I was found! I was still in the wall the whole time! People brought me to the shelter and everyone else was already gone. Rockers Rescue ran to get me and protect me from getting sick. The foster drove back for me as quick as she could.. Then I got to reunite with my siblings and new adopted family! (Im the little baby in the pink towel in our newborn collage.) They were super worried about me because I was so small but I grew big and strong. We lost the runt of our litter, but the rest of us thrived. We grew up with the Clover Clan and were known as the "Wall kitties." We are SO special and happy to be alive!  And Im the extra special one!

Vetting:   We will have our first and second set of kitten shots and be dewormed. We will be altered too so no babies for us! You should also see your vet to get me more shots as needed

Rockers Rescue does NOT promote declawing of kitties. They get requests all the time to take in cats that have had behavioral changes. Usually they ask the grand question and its true... the cats behavior changed and they had been declawed. (or they have a urinary tract infection and the owner doesn't know.) We DO however suggest trimming kitty nails OR using Nail Caps! Nail Caps easily cover my nails so I can still use my normal kitty functions but not scratch up anything. And get kitty toys too.

For adoption: Go to www.adoptapet.com/rockersrescue/adoptionapp/ to apply for me. Please EMAIL them to let them know you have sent an application. Sometimes they don't go through! rockersrescue@gmail.com. Feel free to include as much information about your home as you can. We do not schedule meets until a family is approved as our animals are in foster homes. If you are not sure which kitten you may want just let us know and we can work that out. Thanks! There is a $10 holding fee to claim me after approved and $40 adoption fee when you take me home.
